Take Required Training
Staff, including the center director, must complete orientation and required training prior to being granted a license.
Training Requirements
There are two types of training requirements: orientation training requirements and ongoing training requirements. Connect with your Navigator for resources to help identify training needs.
Training on Approved Policies
Once you are assigned a licensor, they will approve your policies. Centers must provide their own training on their approved policies. Centers can provide other required training if they document that the training includes all the content specified in Minnesota Statutes, section 245A.40.
